Despite what Lane's notes to his translation to _1001 Arabian Nights_ may suggest, the al 'azif (العزيف) is not a sound made by insects. Rather it is a very ominous sound created by the sands. Generally speaking, 'azif (عزيف) is short for 'azif al jinn (عزيف الجن) or the "howling of the daemons"

Tattoos for Magic

I was curious to see if anyone else has ever utilized tattoos (or any other kind of body mod) for a ritual or magical purpose.

I personally find them to be extremely useful, and am somewhat surprised that I never hear more regarding their use.

Take into consideration the elements involved in a tattoo.

First, there is a certain amount of pain involved, and pain is always a useful way in which one can attain a trance state for magical workings.

Second, tattooing is basically a personal blood sacrifice, in a sense. There is such a deep mental connection between blood, life and magic that the use of blood appears in almost every system of magic in one form or another, even on a symbolic level. One would think that any symbol designed in blood would take on a particularly high magical significance.

Third, the tattoo basically becomes a living sigil. It becomes a part of the person and partakes of the person’s vitality (since it is a part of the skin). It’s not something that can be simply “forgotten”, since it is always present on the person.

Once created, a tattoo could be activated during a ritual through trance or anointment. Or it could simply have a continual effect on a person.

One would think that there would be more information out there regarding this. (Or perhaps I am just looking in the wrong spots.)

Any thoughts? :)

Legalize Hemp and Cannabis in California

Hi Family,

Right now there are two competing signature drives to put Cannabis legalization initiatives on the ballot in California in

November 2010.

One is found at www.taxcannabis2010.org

The other is found at www.CaliforniaCannabisInitiative.org

Please look carefully at the text of both laws (the text of each is finalized) and make up your own mind which one you support.

I am supporting www.CaliforniaCannabisInitiative.org because our law will protect Cannabis users from discrimination in

healthcare, employment, and housing. It is a full legalization measure for industrial hemp and recreational cannabis which will restore full human rights to Hemp farmers and Cannabis users all across California. Of course supplying Cannabis to children will remain illegal just as it is today. Driving vehicles under the influence will remain illegal just as it is today. Cannabis users will still be fired from their jobs if they show up to work impaired.

There are two parts to our plan. The first part is to publicly post and personally distribute our "Freedom Lover's Call to Arms" in order to recruit volunteers. This document is available here-

The second part of our plan is to ask everyone who volunteers to make a pledge for how many signatures they can collect in

the next 30 days or so. 15-30 signatures is a good number. If enough volunteers show this level of commitment we can succeed. We will have to proudly advocate human rights for responsible, honest, hard-working Cannabis smokers in order to convince legitimate people to support us. We are polling 56% public support for Cannabis legalization in California which menas that this is an initiative which is not doomed. Its time has finally arrived; we are at the tipping point right now. Now is the time to do this and to do it right. We may only get one chance. If a law which is not exactly what we want is implemented then we may lose our critical mass and our ability to set it right.

I believe that less adults will smoke cannabis after it is legal. This is the case in the Netherlands where it has been

available over-the-counter for 30 years yet only half as many citizens (percentage-wise) smoke as do citizens here. My economics professor has taught for years that prohibition has not succeeded in decreasing usage by increasing penalties. Instead it has destroyed lives and families without substantial benefit to society. After legalization hard-drug usage will decrease due to a "separation of the markets," a decline in the price of Cannabis relative to hard-drugs, and the restoration of honesty and common sense in drug education. Violence, thievery, and the incarceration of honest people will decrease as well. I also believe that a well regulated market will decrease the availability and appeal of cannabis to children. In fact teenage Cannabis use in California has fallen steadily since the passage of Proposition 215. Furthermore the adults who smoke Cannabis after legalization will be better able appreciate the majesty of nature in peace and unity without learning to fear and disrespect authority figures. This will be better for their spirits and better for society. Finally the human rights of legitimate medical Cannabis patients will be better protected than they are today. Legalizing Cannabis will create a safer, healthier, and more humane California for us all to live in.

i am almost done with it and i love it!... i dont know how much of the science is actually usable to "scientists" but the articulation of the hd6 theory of time helped me "understand" and "believe" in magic in a new and glorious way...

i am listening to the Illuminatus! as i read this and it seems like a non-fiction version, or proof, of all the metaphysics the two bob's put into their epic...

am planning on doing the Invocation and may post the happening...

So...once a week or so I go to this bar I like...I have done it for a good long while and I know all the regulars and such. There is a young woman who has taken a liking to me who is there sometimes. She obviously has kind of a crush on me - and so so I on her - but she has a boyfriend and I am married, so nothing has (or likely will) come of it. Just friends...we both know whats what. Anyway...this boyfriend of hers is kind of a weird little guy...always wearing his hood up and being all mopey and aloof - he and I have not talked to each other much at all, he doesn't seem to like me. Now when his girlfriend is over talking to me he gets all huffy and has stormed out of the place a couple times. I asked her what the deal was and she said not to worry about it...it has nothing to do with me...etc. (It really does look like it has something to do with me, though)

So lately I have been having a streak of very bad luck - for lack of a better term. Lost my job...been hitting nothing but obstacles trying to find a new one...been really depressed...been sick (as has my family) and some other more personal stuff...

I have remarked to several people that it seems like someone has laid some sort of curse on me.

So...I am in said bar the other night...I see the girl and her fella...she comes over to talk to me and is a little touchy feely (had a few in her I think) and of course the dude leaves. I later mentioned something about all this to another friend - one who works there and knows these two folks pretty well - and she says (in a joking but not really sort of way): "You should watch out for him...he's a wizard". I have asked her several times since to elaborate, but she wont.

Now...I don't know if this fellow is a practitioner...rootworker...satanist...chaos mage...what - he might just be into roleplaying games and my friend really was joking. Two things I know for sure - he dislikes me and my life has been pretty lame for just about as much time as he has.

so...what do you folks think?

and mentally yelling "MINE!"

True skeptics are skeptical of skeptics, skepticism, and him/herself.

Admitting that you may be wrong shows strength of character. We're only human. The only people who don't make mistakes aren't doing anything at all.

Agnostics may have suspicions about social/scientific/spiritual concepts having more or less validity, but our trick is discussing such topics without an emotional investment in any particular outcome.

i have discovered many methods for raising energy fast without doing drugs.
these works and maybe for you too.

musick-trance, metal,hard rock
emotions-anger,hornyness with or without masturbation or sex with others
physical exercise-any kind will do i perfer weights, qi gong works good too(rub your belly button counter clockwise to release qi from dan tien)
breath- breath of fire technique (take quick short breaths using your diaphram)
pressure points-two fingers in the middle back of neck right below where the skull begins.(rosicruian technique)

feel free to add in things that work for you so that i can try them out.

i was wondering there are many ways to do magick right?! in magick were people are involved, you need a psychic link .in terms of money you dont need a psychic link, you just need to put an enchantment on your self to attract money.but maybe you can switch it up by creating a psychic link with a mint and a enchantment on your self to make yourself more attractive and charismatic to other people.

on the subject of gnosis. since i dont keep a magickal diary(shame on me) i cant say that the intensity of gnosis makes more success.
gnosis feels good and feeling your own energy getting stronger can be addictive ,to the point where i always want to feel that way.

anyways.... i would like to hear some stuff on other peoples view on psychic links and gnosis if yall are up to it.

how do you deal with annoying people?

i have been feeling better these days. if people dont know me or havent been following my posts, i have schizophrenia.
i have noticed that psychic people know when you are thinking about them. for instance say you think about a friend and you get a phone call from them or you call them and they say "i was just thinking about you".i have realized when i think about the people i dont like and who i think who is messing with me,i start to feel shitty. my cureent strategy is to ignore and not think about about these people and it works. it isnt until i realize they get the message that i thought about them and they mess with me some more. im trying to change . i dont know why i get more results from being violent than being peaceful. maybe the univerese is trying to teach me something. i dont know.
im tired of trying to be the tough guy. i want peace. i may not be a poster child for peace but i want to try. i may have scary thoughts about people i dont like. does that make me a bad person? are my thoughts that powerful? im just confused and trying to do the right thing and live a peaceful life. it seems no matter what ,conflict is around the corner and i dont have the tools to deal with it.

need help with pot gnosis

i have avoided pot for a long time but i feel drawn to it lately its been helping me get off cigs.
my main obstacle is that when i get high its a mental visual thing not a body euphoria thing.
my visualization capability is a hundred times more clear but also more chaotic.
fears pushed back into my subconcious emerge again. old paranoias about being attacked psychically make me defensive.
why cant i just relax and fixate on the good things going on. i noticed that if do something with my energy i become buddah like but if i just scan and try to intrepret the mental visions i see the glass half empty and think the worse thing for the image i see.
its hard to trust my intuition whne i smoke pot becuase everyhting is so visual and my negative thinking takes over rather than having clarity and saying. "ok this is my fear" . I put meaning into everything i see and to me thats a bad thing.
any suggestions?

magick is like exercise

damn i have been really lazy i only got gnostic like once a week . most of my work i did on the fly without getting into a deep gnostic state.
now its getting harder to get into a trance state and feel my energy get bigger and bigger. i was feeling very mundane and not very spiritual.
my magick muscles are getting flabby. i hardly tried to influence anything and just let things be. i feel that my skills in achieving gnosis has been affected my inactivity. so these days im trying more frequently to get those muscles back into shape. i remember when i use to be addicited to gnosis and always wanted to be in that state where i can feel my energy getting stronger and stronger. i wasnt too thrilled about my obsession of always being gnositic because im so hard on myslefd that if i fail to acheive what i wanted and would fuck up my confidence. now im going for the middle path where i can be happy and have skills and confidence i want . it kinda helped me rethink my life a bit i want to lose wieght and make more muscle in my physical body as well . i already quit smoking cigs so i am kinda proud myself for that too. so yeah..... i learned that if you dont upkeep the work you put into your gnostic state and you dont keep it in shape you will lose some skill. the same rules apply to material world too. i guess i was naive, overconfident and foolish .

About being processed

OK, A while back there was a site entitled "www.sutble-energy.com" in 2001.
On their site there was a "conspiracy" tab, or whatever you call it. It had on it
the memory of water, and bioluminescence. Soon it was taken down. This
was about the time I started realizing that (sometime in 2001) microwave weapons
were being used against me. When I was at Samaritan Medical Center in
Watertown, I noticed that if a patient reacted in a certain way, they'd send in "replacements." People would wear pens around their heart area. Can they really process people this fast? Saddam Hussein was drugged. I'm starting to realize the type
of mass processing of people that is going on. This is terrible. How can it stop?

Vapor sound identification

When the energy surges to my third eye with full force, and then withdraws, I hear a sound that resembles the sound when water is thrown on a hot surface and is instantly transferred into vapors... the bubbly hissing sound.

Things go on their own when I sit and meditate. My hands make mudras themslves like I am possesed. Breathing alters. I feel pressure/vibrations in all the cakras upto the sixth.

When I am relaxed and feel energised.. the breathing is blocked and the whole life force is directed towards the third eye. Its like I am hacking (trying to go inside) into myself from the eye.

I don't see anything but I hear the sound for 10-12 seconds when I start breathing again. The energy then moves/coils back down to my lower chakras. And then rises back up again after a few minutes... the process will continue repeating unless I urge the energy to stop and dispel. My hands keep making mudras all the time during this process.

Sometimes I feel like I am inhaling from my left ear. Sometimes my root chakra vibrates so strong that I feel like I will leave the ground. I can punch and kick very hard by focusing the energy in my fists or feet.

I started meditation two years ago when I had this strange dream. In the dream I saw myself asleep. I thought how its possible to see myself asleep? I must be dreaming. And just when I realized this, my hearing turned inwards and I heard a loud 'OM' inside me. At the same time my eyes moved upwards between my eyebrows and the vision turned inwards too. I felt as if I was dying. A fireball (like sun) was glowing inside the head between my eyebrows. And I woke up with fear of death.

It seems the Kundalini is trying to redo the same thing when I meditate.

Right now my forehead is throbbing and I am losing focus. I have to go and repeat the process.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

object concentration in nature

i did an object concentration meditation on a green leaf on the ground. i noticed that quickly it became object concentration,no mind and mantra very quickly. my initial intention was to to try to levitate the leaf . as i gazed on the leaf i started having mushroom trip things going on for instance being in a trance state and seeing visual patterns in nature. the dead leaves around the green leaf were in a beautiful pattern as you would see in a mushroom trip. unfortuanetly due to a lack of discipline i gave up on the levitation and looked at the ground again and i didnt see the pattern anymore. it was a cool trippy experience.

North American Natives And Chaos

I was having a discussion over in the Herbal Tribe about Medicine Men/Shamans using ceremony, herbs in particlular, in my opinion it doesn't seem like magic to me. Speaking in general terms of course, the north american native tribes and "magic" Perhaps a lower level, perhaps a local source of inspiration, plants, trees, animals, earth energy, Then there is HigherMagick that is connected to a Higher Forces/Sources. Is there any thoughts? I do not believe that the common shaman is conected like that. I know that once you get closer to the equator, The Aztecs, Mayans, Toltecs know they had the blood sacrifices, which as little as I know about this kinda stuff, you must shed blood(like mass tribal wars, kill your young men in battle, sacrifice children at the alter) to get the attention of the higher forces. You know, the same Religion practiced by our Bohemian Goverment.

Anyway am I wrong for assuming that The Natives were not aware... i'd like to think of them as mosty peaceful, mostly tradition of nature, down to earth. Is that still considered magick. I have my Golden Bough by Frazier in front of me but he says nothing that convinces me its High Magic.

confused with telepathy

i have had strangers (maybe not) in my dreams these days teaching me about kinestetic dreaming. basically anythind you can feel in the real world can be memorized to be done in the dream world. i will give an example. just today i had a lucid dream or astral projection of being in my parents house. the house looked the same except the furniture. my dream guide urged me to not go outside because someone might see me. so i wandered around in a lucid state. then the dream changed or the astral projection turned into a dream. i was play fighting with a friend and he tickled me so much i woke up. so in dreaming with others i learned i can tickle someone. there is so much that can be done in dream life. i wonder if you can reverse it. i have had flying dreams and levitation dreams and feeling a certain energy sensation while doing it . to memorize my dream life and make it happen in my waking life. damn i have a long ways to go. im such a fucking novice.

Obama supporters please read

Perhaps it is bold of me to assume that there is a majority of Obama supporters in this tribe, but you know....i just have a hunch.

And i have a plan.

Beyond voting against McCain, which is of course the obvious thing to do, i would like to strongly suggest that we put our magickal intentions together and work on a magickal level to help Obama win the election.

I have been thinking a lot about this and wondering if i could somehow initiate a synchronized group ritual all across the country. The election occurs just a few days after the New Moon, so perhaps a nationwide meditation and ritual on October 29th at the New Moon, setting the intention for Obama to be victorious in the election.

I intend to do this myself, and the more people who join me, the better.

Whatever your chosen path or style of ritual, be sure to include an image of Barack Obama and maybe something blue, like a candle. I think the timing is the key factor, so that we are all directing our energies at the same time.

I know that Sarah Palin relies on spiritual guidance through her pastor and you never know what forces may be assisting the republican party (ok, so maybe you DO know about the reptilians...) so it would be wise for us to counter these occult influences with some of our own. If there is enough support for my idea, i will start a tribe for it, so please post here with your feedback and ideas.

R.I.P. Ash Kennaz

With great sadness, I report the death of Ash Kennaz a.k.a. Brett Hackett, a friend, brother and mentor to many.

Whether liked or not (and most did like him), all who knew Ash regarded him as one of the greatest contemporary magicians. Throughout his extensive career Ash enlightened many to the principles and dynamics of Chaos Magic Theory, including Timothy Leary and Anton LaVey. Among the titles Ash held include Urwahim (Master Shaman) in the Finno-Ugric tradition and Magus (9*=1) in the A.:A.: .
In 2000 Ash opened the Magikal Child bookstore (with homage to Herman Slater) in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury, which served as one of the last remaining outlets for the occult community until 2002.

What happens if you create an entity out of death majik? What are the side effects? On you and others? How does that effect the creation?

In my experiments, I've learned that the energy used to create an entity is important, and that it can influence the finished product. If you need energy, try for something neutral, and easy to work with, rather than energy like rage or hatred---overly strong emotions. If you create a complex entity, then it wouldn't really matter. While you can filter the energy, you can never be sure.
So use something that's simple, and less likely to kill you.
So, what would happen if I used death majik? Like death energy?

for all of yall interested in this i suggest qi gong or chi gong energy model very interesting stuff it works perfectly with the chinese medicine modle also. if you are interested in becomeing sesitive to energy find a falun gong or chi gong group to practice with. they usually do it in the morning and in most cases its free or very little cost. the reason i post this is becuase im getting back into tit and i remembered my first chi gong class in sf state and how insturmental it was for me to learn sensitivity and manipulation of energy.

it also great for people who hate sittting still cuz its moving meditation .

What happened?

I was doing an meditation---drawing up energy and playing around with it (creating little pet things, spheres and stuff). It was going very well, and I was getting some good exercise/practice...until my brother came in.
He interruped me, and said something (forgot what it was), but it brought me crashing back to my body and it HURT...like knives going through me and rocks hitting me. I put up a circle and everything, but it didn't seem to matter. What happened? Why did my brother coming in and interrupting me do that? Was it something I did wrong?
And my brother's energy feels really screwed up--very slow, and seems not to function right.
Any ideas?

Paradigm Loyalty

so, what do yall think of coming to favor one paradigm more than others? most of you who I'm friends with know I've been concentrating on the Hindu Tantric paradigm for quite some time, and among Hindus (of the ethnic Indian variety), I am accepted quite easily as indistinguishable from them apart from my skin color and cultural context - often I am asked what part of India my family is from (and I really don't look Indian)... hehe

anyway, that particular paradigm (Hinduism in general) is almost a metaparadigm within itself. it's almost a fallacy to even call Hinduism a single religion, as there are a myriad interpretations of even the most basic texts and teachings; additionally, the folks I like understand that *their paradigm has no inherent Truth to it* - the more advanced practitioners tend to present religious practice as templates for self growth which are ultimately arbitrary, and which do not preclude the other. I have continued to study Kabbalah, etc. but my main focus has definitely been Hinduism. now, because of the nature of the branch of Hinduism I like, many of the goals of Chaos Magic are shared by left handed Tantra. so really, I have no problem calling myself a practitioner of the school to anyone. the only dogma I've picked up is a firm belief in nondualism, which, Carroll aside, I am convinced is a much healthier model of an amoral universe than any dualist philosophies are, once you get to the good stuff and past most of the crap that has been brought to the west over the past century (by Indians as well as westerners).

so I don't really see associating with this particular paradigm to be limiting in any way other than that I stopped eating beef, and I actually feel better for it (and I have other reasons as well) - the suspension of disbelief and the conscious manipulation of belief for a particular end are both things that you end up discovering are valuable and perhaps necessary tools for Tantra, although it is not often made explicit. but I understand that some might disagree. Josh warns in PP that becoming a Systematic Chaos Magician carries with it the inherent danger of becoming a true believer. but if one becomes a true believer in a paradigm that views itself as arbitrary, what is the real difference? at this point would I be advised to switch things up just to avoid stagnation? I actually became fascinated with this particular paradigm and the richness (as well as the thousands of years of practice which go a long way towards reinforcing conviction) of the systems makes me realize that I'll have to stick with it for quite some time to really master it, if I ever do. I see plenty of room for non-stifling growth within it. additionally, with all of the divinities to placate there is usually a specific ritual and deity that corresponds to what it is you are wanting to achieve, and it works pretty well.

does that make me a heretic yet again? ;)

i have been having experiences of being in the dark and see whats in front of me with my eyes closed. it seems that my energy body is not perfectly in place around my physical body. it was turned to the left a bit . i seem to get disoriented when meditating with my eyes closed . i seem to face other parts that are not where my gaze would be if i were with my eyes open. also my closed eye vison is kinda grey at night.

another closed eye experiences i have had were to see a wall of color with symbols on it sometimes black with whitish symbols and when i was being cursed it was red with numbers and runes and a deity face pic. i also learned to see this wall very well now and can banish things i dont like and draw my own symbols there too now. when i draw its like a pen ink of light that i can manifest in my minds eye or behind my eyelids . i dont understand this ability too much .anyway just wanted to share this. if you ever had any cool experiences please share.

emotionally induced trance

for me anger is Number 1 i remember when i was in highschool i would listen to music and visualize beating up my bullies and get into a trance doing it. it was my first gnostic experience i think. i would use violent visualization to get into a trance. kinda like don juan advised carlos to do to get into a warriors mood. maybe thats why i love those books. cuz i feel like i can relate but i dont hink i relate to carlos stubborness though. anyway..... emotions are a powerful tool if i could be like an actor and commit to the moment of of my emotions i can probably achieve trance in all emotions. that would be awesome even though i hate the negative emotions but thats what being human is all about until you acheive enlightenment then you choose your emotions.

working with the crystal skulls.

i was watching a show on the crystal skulls and the theory that if they come together they will bring about change on the earth. so what i was working with was the image of the real crystal skull by creating a psychic link with it. when did this it brought about alot of visions of other people. i think these other people i saw maybe having the same idea as me. when making this psychic link i created a psychic bond between all the crystal skulls and created astral versions of all the skulls and putting them together to fullfil the prophecy for change (positive one). it will be interesting to see what the results will be. anybody else here have any interesting theories about the crystal skulls and what were or are to be used.

My name is Rhonda Gruber AKA Wicked Lil Witch and I am a Proud Witch. I am currently being persecuted as a Witch by a Lt. Kevin Duke of the Horry County Police Dept. My life and the lives of my family and friends are being threatened and destroyed by this man with the backing of countless other officials.

I was arrested Monday Sept 10th '07 by Lt Duke for Breach of Peace, Child Endangerment/ Neglect and 1st degree Harrassement.

This all began around the end of May '07 from many false police reports from a neighboring family, The Luisettis, who also seemed to think I deserved to be arrested for my religious beliefs. They stated such in their police reports. When this began to become a pattern of filing false reports, we began seeking Police protection FROM them. We were told numerous times that we had no reason to receive their protection, just to ignore them. Yet they continued to file their reports on us. We were told the only we could do is file a Civil Suit. This wouldn't fix the problem for quite awhile if ever.The Police Dept on numerous occasions, even refused to file any reports for us.

We had at one point searched out help from Magistrates in the area. One told us that filing these reports was most definitely something the Police could do something about and that they should but he was fairly certain that they wouldn't. He went on a 10 min rant about it to us. He even took the time to gives us copies of the laws on filing false reports, which we took to this Lt Duke, who after realizing we weren't going to leave his office too easily, Then wrote us report stating that the report from the Luisettis was investigated and the allegations were unfounded and seemed to be stemming from harrassement from the neighbors.

Now Monday, my 16 yr old son was targeted for their harrassment . In the morning the Luisetti's daughter had a young man assualt him at the bus stop. We filed a report that morning. That afternoon another allegation from their daughter that he beat her up Friday on school property which led to his suspension since the school wouldn't investigate it other than her statement and her 2 friend's statements. She would have been getting on the bus at the time while he was on the other side of the building getting a ride from one of his friends. Then as we were sitting in my garage workshop working on getting the suspension investigated by the school board, waiting to see if the death threat my son received was going to take place. The threat came from the Luisetti's daughter getting a young man to "kill" my son due to the beating she received from him. He was supposed to be coming to our house after school. We were then visited by an irrational Lt. Duke as he whipped into our driveway screaming that Spencer was reported to be brandishing and pointing an assault rifle at the Luisettis. Which isn't even close to what he was doing. Duke then stated that is is tired of all this and someone is going to jail. He didn't care to hear anything we had to to say about our side. Anytime I was trying to say something I was told to shut up or be arrested. He was VERY aggressive and yelling. He seemed to trying to provoke an altercation. I freely admit I was upset and a little loud but I was trying to defend my son. I was never violent or out of control. I was just pissed and trying to make some sense out of the situation. When I was told to shut up I did which seemed to further anger Duke. I was only arrested after they put the cuffs on my son. I then told my Husband to find a f...ing attorney and quick. This was when they arrested me.

I was never read my Miranda Rights to this day but the questions they asked me were used in my arrest. Doesn't seem legal to me...

My charges of Child Endangerment were due to the fact that we have several legal weapons around a minor. I must inform you my son is an ROTC member with Marine Boot Camp training in weapons, can disassemble/ reassemble an M16 on the field. He was also on the Rifle Team last year and is Athletics Team Commander. He also knew our weapons, from target shooting and cleaning. He even pointed out to the Police Weapons Expert how to release the clip and open the bolt chamber as they couldn't. He is very safe and well versed in weapons. I must point point that is legally old enough to have a hunting license. He is also looking to join the National Guard on his 17th B-Day, Oct 3rd this yr. Upon his 18th B-Day he was planning a Military career. We are proud of him and is a really good person. We are very upset with all the things being alleged about him.

To summarize:
We are being persecuted because of my spiritual choices, not being Christian. Lt. Duke has a web page stating his religious beliefs and infertility and adoption problems which leads us to the belief that he can no longer separate his personal feelings from his ability to do his job in an objective manner. He seems to have appointed himself as a personal victim's advocate for allegedly neglected and abused children.

The fact that I am a practicing witch is being noted in complaints and warrants against me and my family. It has even been voiced in court along with allegations stating I have cast spells on 2 cops and the luisetti family by the solicitor during proceedings. My familiar pyewacket seems to have been mishandled during the search of our home. She was running and flinching from us the day after. I am very hurt by this. Though this can't be proven, I know my animal and this is not her normal behavior.

We have always tried to help others and be good people, so this is very hard for us to deal with. I am lucky to have a very strong supportive circle of friends and family or we would still be in jail. My in-laws had to take the majority of their retirement fund for some 20 thousand dollars to hire a powerful law firm to help us. Though I will never be ashamed of being a witch, I am so very sorry for all the trouble and loss of money it has cost them to stand up for us.

The reason for this letter is that we need all the help we can find to fight this. Whether it is positive protective energy, advice, or donations to help pay for this. I will not rest until I have made a difference for all that believe in freedom of religion. I don't want this to just disappear, I want to make a stand for all free thinkers against persecution. We all know the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

For all that believe in freedom of choice, please stand behind me or even beside me in court while I fight. I am not a quitter and I have a loud voice. I always stand up for what I believe in, all I ask is to not have to stand alone in this. It's time to fight for what we all believe in, not just lie down and take it. I have enclosed the papers that are in my possession to prove my claims. I will include more as they come into my possession. I am not easily scared although they are trying to intimidate us. Threatening phone calls have been made to family and friends even now. In supporting us, you are also supporting yourselves.

We are looking to get this story out to as many places as possible. The more people who are aware the harder it will be for them to get aware with it!

Erotic cults such as the Vāma-Kālī sect of Tantra, the Carpocratians, Black Madonna, Catholic cults devoted to the Magdalene and Virgin, worshippers of Lilith uncover the most carnal dimensions of ritualized sex. Mankind condemns Lilith by trying to define Her. She is damned and worshipped in print and song. The Legend of Lilith evolves from diverse religious and cultural memes. We first encounter the Lilith mythos in the Alphabet of Ben Sira, the Zohar, and in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Lilith is a primal effigy in ancient religion, and experiences evolutions from archaic goddess to colourless ghost and desert terror.

In the philosophy of the Hebrew Qabalah, Lilith corresponds to the daemon of Malchut in the Qlifot {the World of Shells, or husks). The Qlifot are shells of the dead worlds, and by conquering the fear of the Mystery of Death, the Initiate attains to the Vision of the Wrathful Maiden. Lilith is the arcane archetype of sexual dominance and the fear of Death, the archetypal primacy of Lilith annihilates litanies of inhibitions in the human psyche. Etymological origins of Lilith independent of Jehovian-Semitic templates point to the Sumero-Babylonian Lilû, which translates to ‘a demon equivalent to a male vampire.’ Derived from Sumerian, Lila refers to ‘wind,’ or ‘storm.’ Opting for an Akkadian translation, I suggest Lalu, also Lulu as ‘lecherous,’ and ‘wandering.’

From the Akkadian Lilitû and her Sumero-Babylonian compliments, Ardat-Lili, Idlu-Lili, and Lamaştû, derives the Semitic LYLYT {Lilith}. The Lilitû primarily feasted upon women and children, referred to by the terrified inhabitants of Ur and Babylon as night-ghosts that roamed the deserts away from populace. Pictographs from 800 B.C. to 500 B.C. Babylonia depict “Lilith” in the company of snakes and other abominable animals, keeping with themes of her malevolence in Babylonian pottery, Persian and Jewish amulets and in the Qumran scrolls. The night-ghosts here evolved into the Jehovian mythopoeia seeping into the Christian paradigms of diabolatry. Isaiah 34; xiv in the Vulgate refers to “he-goats,” “hairy monsters,” again carried over from Judaic paradigm. The Vulgate reads; “Et occurrent daemonia onocentauris, et pilosus clamabit alter ad alterum; ibi cubauit lamia, et inuenit sibi requiem.” Isaiah 34; xiv-xv refers to Lilith as the ‘Screech Owl.’ The Serpent in the form of Lilith initiated Mankind, the true Beast with seduction and dark eroticism by providing the forbidden fruit of death to Eve, her female concubine. In her secret initiations with Eve, appearing to Her as a Serpent, Lilith took up the cloak of the primal seductress. Through Eve, Lilith taught Mankind forbidden paths of the Black and Red Serpent ~ of Lust and Love.

The Rite of Lilith is a Tantric and magical ceremony of Chthonic working, as the true archetype of Lilith is sex and death. Lilith is embodied by metaphysical and mystical origins of diverse ancient cultures. Adored and feared by mortals as the Sumerian Lilitu {also the Hand of Inanna}, Babylonian Lamashtû {Daughter of Anu}, Akkadian Ardat-lili, the Hellenistic Hecate, or the Hindu Kali, it is black Lilith whom enshrouds over our eyes the Veil of Death. She is the personification of the Scarlet Woman. Those who transcend psychosexual modes of deviance, and overcome religious memes will breed new paradigms, and a new race, a new psychology, a new code of genetics completely unknown to contemporary Man. Her womb produces only those whose veins retain Her Imperial blood…and hidden words. Man trembles at the thought of the Scarlet Woman as sexual rival. A true initiated Brother sees the Scarlet Woman with Heaven’s eye of blood.

Lilith, in all her mythic emulations, and cultural prototypes, is not here to ‘prune’ the sexual mania of Man. She is here to harvest it! In the seeds of sperm and ovum, the psychosexual and cultural lineage of Lilith retains Imperial Blood. The curse of Ophelia will be known to all Mankind. The Rite of Lilith presents to the reader a device to prospect unexplored, uncharted psychological and religious memes of the Goddess dominant. Lilith’s Rite is a chthonic reenactment of Sumerian and Akkadian mythos, designed to embed in the psyche memes equal to patrilineal religious pantheons, with the sacred feminine as Initiator and Fiat of Mankind’s “salvation.”

{Gospel of Phillip 127}. The psychosexual prototypes and cultural memes of Lilith represent the Chapel Perilous {of the Grail Legend}, the darkness of the womb from whence Man physically and metaphysically emerges. Lilith is the “perfect day and holy light” hidden within the Nightside of Eden, the “darkness and the night” of the bridal chamber. To enter the holy bridal chamber, one must first pass through the nightside brothels of Lilith and Her kin.

Lilith’s Rite functions as an ingress of psychosexual archetypes imbued within Mankind’s consciousness and genetics since the dawn of religion. Religion is latent within the human genetic code. As the initiate progresses through the monologues of the Rite of Lilith, interpolation of archetypes of Lilith emulated throughout the history of ancient cultures {such as Sumerian, Babylonian, and Mesopotamian} occurs within the initiate’s consciousness. The ritualist primes the psyche for an atavistic resurgence of psychosexual prototypes. In essence the Rite of Lilith functions as an atavistic indwelling of Lilith. Equally, the lunar archetype worshipped by the ancients is a gnosis explored by initiating into the dreaming nightside of Lilith/Lilitu. The ritualist seeks Lilith through the wilderness and desert isolation, in the caves of primeval darkness and the burial tombs of those dead but dreaming, her forbidden fruits and hidden words are invoked into the ritual garden. The Elder Gods which have traversed the earth since time immemorial, even heed the wisdom of Lilith, for She retains the unbroken darkness of the Abyss and therein its secrets and infinite possibilities. Her reputation has taken on the epitome of the “dark side” of the sacred feminine. The usual precedent when a new religion supplants pagan animism or polytheism, is to invert the previous religion’s deities into antinomian “demons” as that side of their psyche becomes obscured.

While Lilitu has its etymological origins in ancient languages of the Arab world, the name Laylá comes from the word layl meaning “night.” Recall that Lilitu is associated with a night-ghost who roamed desolate places such as the desert. Night represents the Unmanifest. In the Arabian deserts, the night is a reality without boundaries: forms are dissolved, no sand dunes or camels or anything else visible, all is formless, nothing but darkness. This is direct symbolism of the unmanifested aspect of the Divine Nature, God as Unmanifest. Blackness absorbs all light, thus Lilith represents the unmanifest nature of reality, the unmanifest psyche hidden in the blackest depths of Man’s mind.

There are echoes that bear throughout the World’s shadows tales of times remote; tales, who carry the remnants of books long turned to dust, tales, which whisper cryptically of Eve and the Serpent. There are, born in each generation, Men and Women whom awake to memories and ordained knowledge told to them in nightmares. The echoes of Lilith’s hidden words and Her tales are gathered once more before the eyes of lost souls who speak the language of insanity and carnal Lust. Lost ‘mid Truth and Lie, there is a Secret that has no telling: we foreswear all oaths all sacraments to other Gods and Goddesses in Lilith’s name. Her Path is written in blood, blood fresh fallen from her womb, fallen to the opened hearts of mad crones and wrathful maidens, abused women, and downtrodden Brothers of the Holy Grail and the Red Serpent who look beyond both themselves and the Stars in heaven. With Lilith, that which is seen is not that which should be sought.

I Time

Lilith’s Rite must only be performed on the eve’ of the New Moon, or on Samhain {Halloween} night. Never at any other time. The Rite lasts three full days and nights.

II Preliminaries

Purification and consecration: Fast sunrise to sunset seven days and nights prior to Rite. Abstain from any and all sexual activity one full lunar cycle {about 29-30 days} prior to Rite, this is of the utmost importance to the Rite. Keep silent and do not speak one full day and night prior to Rite. Bath ritually at sunset and fast completely one full day prior to Rite.

III Formulate the Cross:

We’ve found the freaks who thought they were the only ones, and taught them - and ourselves - what tribe is supposed to mean.

The Egyptians used to say that anything that can be conceived of is, in some
form, real. By giving concepts form and name, we can more easily work with
them. Concepts can include body parts, stars, planets, machines and anything
else that we can label or define.
Once given alternate form and name these concepts can be worked with in
magic to form personal mythologies and grimoires. These artificial forms
may be called spirits or eidolons, and can be worked with to surprisingly
good results, once the mind has cemented the new static/symbolic form(s)
inside one's own symbolic matrix.
Since the majority of our brains are set up to communicate with other
beings, operating with different personified forms allows the budding
magician to use more of their mental power while performing reality
adjustments in a fun, easy to understand manner. The seminar will go over
ways of dealing with symbolic forms, and expand the idea of working with the
created forms into any area where magical work is desired. The creation
process is innovative and simple.

my version of don juan teachings #1

when i was reading the carlos castanedas books i didnt really understand what don juan was talking about . in studying magick i have noticed some things.
Body Memory-
the body remembers how to do things. to me this represents many things for instance psychic exposure and possibly past life memories of abilities that are latent now.
psychic exposure from my experience works like this. unconscious memory and conscious memory. unconscious memory can be unlocked by meditation and contemplation. recapitulation can be used here.
for instance memorizations of various energies

as for past life memory there is also unconscious and conscious. these memories come out by also meditation and contemplation.
and sometimes hallucinagenics open those memories as well. my knowledge is limited in past life memories since i dont know if i believe in it yet. only times i have remembered anything or seen anything was in random flashes.
for instance i have had hawk vision where my vision locks on a n object and i see up close like a telescope.

enlightenment in other animals and plants

i think the mainstream mentality of animals is wrong. they are just as complex as human beings. in my experiences with psychedelics i have bonded with animals and plants. they have lots of wisdom to share if we take the time to create a link with them. maybe enlightenment is not the word. maybe it is evolved. i have spoken with trees and birds and other animals. when the assemblage point is in the right place they notice you more and try to communicate with you if you are receptive enough.
i think that animals have a similiar choice as us magicians to dive into the unknown and empower themselves. they might be more preoocupied with their lives than us with the hunting and grazing. but that might be their meditation. everyday life. can animals use telepathy?sure. they can astrally project too. i have seen this.

clairvoyance or what?

i have been seeing superimposed images over what my eyes are seeing. its not the same as daydreaming . its been happening more often. for instance i was outside after a shower and i saw a superimposed picture of my self witha towel wrap around my head . then a few seconds later my boyfriend wraped a towel aroung my head for fun.

i think it also happens when people are thinking of me becuase i get a call from them seconds or minutes later.

magician self and everyday self

when i starting out with this magick thing. i was trying to fit an image in my head . i thought i wanted this specific image and i tried it for years . then i was having a mental crisis and i thought maye i should be the exact opposite . well basically to get any wisdom you need experience. some was good some was bad. i guess sometimes when wisdom slaps you in the face your not ready for it and you gotta wait for that moment that you say ""oh.....i get it now"" and it comes naturally want and you figure out what your zen is. now these images i though i wanted we exaggerations of what could work for me. then with some empathy and less ego i figured out a way to fit my magician self combine with my everyday self creating a hybrid personality that suits me fine with plenty flaws and inconsistentcies to allow me to grow and evolve.

Charging sigils

So, I've gotten better at creating sigils, but I wonder if I'm charging them properly. I understand that I'm supposed to charge a sigil with a mentally or emotionally powerful release. What I've been doing is some kundalini yoga breathing exercises culminating in a powerful exhale somewhat like the "kiai" yell used in martial arts(though not as loud, since I live in an apartment complex). Does this sound sufficient for charging a sigil?

Moreover, I was wondering about what I should be focusing on. In that moment, should I be focusing on the sigil itself, or the purpose behind it? What I've been doing is picturing the purpose during the buildup, and then getting a clear image of the sigil at the moment of release.

Also, do I need to worry about creating too many sigils at once? I must've made at least 4 or 5 today.

something i didnt want

it is strange how most magicians want all these abilities . there were some i did not want becuase i i though i would go more insane.
like precogniotion. my dreams have more and more precog and in strange ways. i think i watched too much tv and i though i would see everybody future misfortunes. but it is not working that way at all. its just bizzare things i see happen i unexpected ways. i kinda like it now.
its kinda disapointing though i actua;lly said i dont want to be precog. now im learning that ability . sucks since i put alot of time and effort into spells and such for lucid dreaming and astral projection and it seems im not makiing any progress . i guess somethings come more naturally to me than others. anyway... just something i thinking about.

Hi, can anyone tell me if the IOT recommends to learn the white magic part of liber null?
Is it a manditory thing? In the book itself it says that either path is up to the magician but is it recommended to leanr both?
