my work with creating entities is wierd cuz i usually dont notice them but people around me do.
not reallly my thing i guess since i dont think of an entity being any different than you doing the work your self.
i guess maybe the glamour of being a creator of something is cool but to me i rather put my trust in myself .

I agree that its important to be very clear about "what" or "whom" you are invoking. Perhaps a useful technique is to request protection first from those presences which may be able to fascilitate such in your life and practice, be they material or immaterial. As a general rule, however, if you are doing magick work towards a particular purpose like healing or building something, and request assistance in that regard, you will attract entities that agree with that purpose. I've not read this book- could you describe a bit how it recommends undertaking this practice?

given that I co-wrote the book, I'll just say it's proven fairly useful to me. I've had consistent results with creating entities, and had no problems.

the most important things about creating magical entities are HOW YOU EXPECT IT TO BEHAVE and WHAT TO DO AFTER IT'S ACCOMPLISHED IT'S MISSION.

I had a great experience about an entity designed to drive someone out of the house... however it created such a messy situation that even I was included in the process of driving that person out. the entity was very successful, but not prolific.

In stories from other magicians and witches, I've heard that forgotten entities might suck your energy or get bored and start up some shit just to get active. Which is why I would recommend planning a method of getting rid of it.
