Any good stories? Have you ever tried to get possesed by a demon and how do demons differ from godforms?

Re: demon possession
Sat, January 20, 2007 - 1:19 PMunfortunately no story of demonic possession, only attacks. One in college a few years ago, one recently, although it could have been just me.
both times have made me step up my practice in protection magics and their various forms. They also always occurred late at night, and started with me being asleep.
The first one was during my freshman year, in the new freshman dorm. It was the end of the year, and I was sharing a room with this big computer gaming geek. He was going to be up all night playing in one of the computer labs, and I was exhausted and had gone to bed early. I started having this dream, where I was in the dorm, engaged in a game with water guns, and I have dived off into a bathroom to refill my gun. Although, suddenly it was like stereotypical old lady bathroom with lace and pastel hand towels and "Love is" figurines. So, I go to refil, and I start sweating. and it starts normal, then in seconds just runns up until its like standing under a showerhead. The bathroom starts to flood and I try to go to a drain or flush it away, and as I am starting to submerge suddenly I think, "WAIT, I AM DREAMING" and bam I am floating in this void, and there is this fleshy thing trying to swoop at me. At this point, I wake up and at the foot of the bed is this humanoid shadow, but with three dimensional features and somehow all the light in the room is outlining it and following it. My heart is thumping in my chest, and I couldn't breathe. It was advancing on me, and kinda looked like it was getting ready to taste me or something. Finally all I could do was just Pray ( I know kinda hokey but it was all I could think of) SO I start doing the Lords Prayer and it fled, after about three repitions. After that, I got out of bed, and cleansed the room and the next day warded it to high hell. I did not want a repeat of that.
The more recent one I was again sleeping, only this time I immediately started dreaming of being beaten up by this thing that was all arms and scales it seemed. After a bit I awoke again, terrified and feeling pummelled, and there was this small dark splotch hanging over me. I focused and performed a banishing pentagram and it vanished. My house used to be more protected, but its being remodeled and I think that it took out some of its defenses. So, now I just focus on protecting me, at least until this remodel is done.
So thats my demonic stories. Nothing fancy. -

Re: demon possession
Sat, January 20, 2007 - 4:55 PMwhat instead of banishing and running from said figure...you actually opened yourself up and let it inside. you never know what would have happened. you say all the light in the room was on it and your heart rate was synched up...sounds like this thing had a pretty good bead on you. maybe its just me but things of this nature dont really scare me. i would welcome it into me and see what it had to say, and if it was just gonna sit there and be a poop then id show it the door. but just cause something "appears" a certain way doesnt mean you have to suck all the life out of it and kill it. banish it what have you...what if when it entered you it gave you the gift of ultimate light...i mean you say that all the energy in that room was focused on you and that being...and you say it came back and was pissed off as to your reaction...well if i was a creature and i had something to show you and i chose specifically you and you spit in my fuckin face...id probably be pretty resigned as well. man just think about it. i say know an opportunity when you see it...and if it enters you and it doesnt turn out to be wholesome...then by all means kill the fucker. i know some things seem frightening, but i really doubt any harm would come to you. fear is just another system of control...i see ultimate love and give that scary dark boogey man a chance. what else do you have? yourself and constantly clearing and shielding and protecting so you can stay in your little safe reality box that you like. so you can be passive as yourself and not have to be in tune with that aspect of your being...just my thoughts. no rudeness or disrespect intended. just an opened mind. -

Re: demon possession
Sun, January 21, 2007 - 5:51 AMWhile I hear ya Jeffry, "testing just one bite to see if the Rattler Venom in fact works as a remedy" doesn't always present the best course of action.
Keep the open mind, but don't forget the "Life eats life. Anonymity, nothing, but everything sacred... and still a snack" workings of the life thing... -

Re: demon possession
Mon, January 22, 2007 - 11:36 AMwell, I guess the difference and something I forgot to mention was menace. Fear is control, but it is also safety. Its good to know the difference. Also if fear is control, then perhaps the demon was seeking to control me. Trying to keep me in a box, and by banishing it I liberated myself just a little.
Having been in supernatural situations where I was afraid, which happens, but I didn't exactly feel in danger, these experiences were distinctly different.
but thanks for the reminder! -

Positive and Negative, for the Protons, and Electrons.
Glad you could pick apart the lesson.
Hail Eris?

Couldn't agree more. FEAR is the ultimate betrayer, the greatest demon we will EVER face.
lets dance and play the lute -

Re: demon possession
Mon, February 5, 2007 - 6:00 AMI am that holy child of love and light
yet I am here in this place of fear
and I gave away all my love
to all the demons here
so now I am empty
except for this dot
of darkest abyss
waiting for her
to retrieve it
with a kiss
of sly intent...
demon is an anagram of monde as live is an anagram of evil and god is of dog
so the greatest demon we will ever face is everywhere we are capable of looking... -

That is so beautiful and sad Orpheus and relative to my life. I guess that's what tribe (life) is all about, we're all each others therapists, and demons, and angels.
I think it's highly likely that George Bush killed Bambi!!
