I have no idea. The only one I ever had as a kind was the ability to flawless call coin tosses. I was always right.
I once had a friend who came from a gifted family, but she just wanted to be normal, so she would suppress it, unless she had some thing to gain from it. Her theory was that she was manipulating electrons, starting with electrical impulses in her brain. kinda neat
I see all things as Gifts of Divine Mind. equally possible to any one, some are just more connected to that then others in different ways. My favorite quote supporting this actually comes from the Bible, Corinthians, Multitude of Gifts. I believe that is 1st Corinthian 12, or 13.
I suppose some may say its the gift of certain spirits, born under certain astrological signs, natural brain power, human evolution etc... I don't think any body really knows. They just are

Astronomy explains that we know absolutely squat about anything, once you place us in perspective. There is a metaphor of the man who experiences the vision of picking up a grain of sand and realizing that he is the grain being picked up, by another man on a beach, ad infinitum. For some this leads to coldhearted existentialism, that we are all in fact just stardust.

Others say, "JUST" stardust? A star is amazing, creator of life, for without nothing that we understand as life exists, and their death throes create the heavy metals that their life could not. JUST star dust indeed.

So, I think unfortunately, like pretty much everything else. we will not know where magick *yes I am one of those bastards that uses a k* came from, but we can learn some of the places it has been, and where it's going next.

Oh yeah, Check out this book The New Psychocybernetics. It is marketed as a self development book, but if you read with an open mind you will realize it is a nonoccult method oh doing Chaos magick. At least that's what I think. A wonderfully inspiring parallel system developed by a plastic surgeon who studied the self image over fifty years ago.

ASTROLOGY


Since modern man is unnatural by definition, it is impossible to persuade one into a primitive belief, such as in the real sky above our heads. For modern superstition, the sky is in the computer. This simple dogma is based on much more than 2000 years of European superstition. That Mayan civilisation and Egypt made no errors is a know fact. These and other cultures were in fact impeccable even with megacycles that encompass precession as elementary unit. Today we know that the horoscope has 22 zodiacal constellations and 16 ascendants for the epoch, but in the past there was popular belief in 12 signs. This belief implied sky devoid of precession and therefore rotation. Solid belief in lack of change was necessary in order to establish puppets and believers instread of c]scientific thought and real astrology. Nowadays it is easy to avoid charlatans. Everyone that makes mention of the 12 signs is safely avoided as superstitious, and therefore dangerous charlatan. Such a demon has never seen the real sky and can not know anything about your own original natal sky.


MAGICK


While truly magickal being of course needs no ritual, the modern man craves for talismans, gadgets and all sort of silly paraphernalia. Only a total loser can trust in the power of regaila and talismans, since the said objects have hardly any power. Some objects do have power, but are impracticable as well as improbable to find, after being charged by beings with magickal power. Such beings are simply not around, besides being obsolete for the initiate. All that the initiate needs he already has, and that is difficult to understand in a modern man. Often true initiation starts naturally in dream or dream time, as initiates tend to daydream, that is enter a separate domain, the astral domain or second attention, whatever the terminology. The real time reality rendering tools are not technique as we do not need any to produce magickal effects right here right now. All sort of silly rituals of the past were just tools addressed ast reinforcing intent.
