Hello,

There are several new and excellent titles just released:

The Apophenion by Peter Carroll

Bright from the Well by Dave Lee

Magick Works by Julian Vayne

Meta-Magick by Phil Farber

(which can be purchased from www.IOTBooks.com)

THE APOPHENION
- A Chaos Magic Paradigm by Peter J. Carroll

Apophenion attacks most of the great questions of being, free will, consciousness, meaning, the nature of mind, and humanity's place in the cosmos, from a magical perspective. Some of the conclusions seem to challenge many of the deeply held assumptions that our culture has taught us, so brace yourself for the paradigm crash and look for the jewels revealed in the wreckage. This book contains something to offend everyone; enough science to upset the magicians, enough magic to upset the scientists, and enough blasphemy to upset most transcendentalists.

Peter J. Carroll is one of the founders of the Magical Pact of the Illuminates of Thanateros (IOT). He has spent thirty-five years in research and experiment, and is the author of three other books: Liber Null & Psychonaut, Liber Kaos: the Psychonomicon, and Psybermagic.

IOT Books says, “One for the collection – even if you disagree with Carroll’s theories – his ideas have serious gravity, and it’s good to see something new from the founding father of Chaos Magic.”

BRIGHT FROM THE WELL:
Northern Tales in the Modern World by Dave Lee

'Bright From the Well' consists of five stories plus seven essays and a rune-poem. The stories revolve around themes from Norse myth - the marriage of Frey and Gerd, the story of how Gullveig-Heidh reveals her powers to the gods, a modern take on the social-origins myth Rig's Tale, Loki attending a pagan pub meet, and the Ragnarok seen through the eyes of an ancient shaman.
The essays include examination of the Norse creation or origins story, of the magician in or against the world and a chaoist's magical experiences looked at from the standpoint of Northern magic.

IOT Books says, “Dave’s stories are a visionary elucidation to inspire the Northern and eclectic magician in their understanding and grasp of magical reality.”

MAGICK WORKS
Stories of Occultism in Theory and Practice by Julian Vayne

In Magick Works you will find cutting edge essays from the path of Pleasure, Freedom and Power.
Enter the world of the occultist: where the spirits of the dead dwell amongst us, where the politics of ecstasy are played out, and where magick spills into every aspect of life. It's all right here; sex, drugs, witchcraft and gardening. From academic papers to first person accounts of high-octane rituals.

Within this seminal collection Julian Vayne explores: * The Tantric use of Ketamine. * Social Justice, Green Politics and Druidry. * English Witchcraft and Macumba * The Magickal use of Space. * Cognitive Liberty and the Occult. * Psychogeography & Chaos Magick. * Tai Chi and Apocalyptic Paranoia. * Self-identity, Extropianism and the Abyss. * Parenthood as Spiritual Practice. * Aleister Crowley as Shaman ...and much more!

Julian Vayne has been involved with the magickal world for over 20 years. He has published numerous articles, led a variety of esoteric workshops and courses, and is a prominent figure in comporary British occultism.

May I also recommend 'The Blood of the Saints' by Alan Chapman & Duncan Barford, an anthology collated from their award-winning website 'The Baptist's Head.'' Both of these guys gave talks at the recent 'Colours of Chaos' seminars in London.

I'm also looking forward to Alan's most imminent new book 'Advanced Magick for Beginners.'
