unemployed at the time,
after an interview with an agent about renting a nicely remodeled studio,

and mentally yelling "MINE!"

Also, urine being sterile and all, and containing magnesium, phosphorus, nitrogen, and other good plant-yummies, it makes an excellent fertilizer, diluted about half 'n half with water. Just fantastic fertilizer, even. "Urine-charge"

it was at the beginning of the gentrification of that particular area
and the studio-home was intended for an upwardly mobile career person or couple.
At the time, i looked more feral than i do now, with a shaved head and various
hairy tendrils extending from my chin...
not the type of character for whom the space was intended,
but just the type for whom it was destined, obviously.

I have not used it in that way, but I have used it as an exchange once while harvesting plant materials. The spirit of the tree seemed happy with that exchange.

it was kinda primal like wolves or lions pissing to mark there territory. -

Fri, March 13, 2009 - 1:25 AMApparently, if you drink your piss after taking mushrooms, you get even higher than off the mushrooms themselves because a lot of the psychoactive compounds pass through your body but have been somewhat broken down and more easily digestible second time round. I've never managed to stomach experiencing this first hand, though. I know piss is meant to be sterile and if you fasted beforehand and drank only water, I suppose the stuff wouldn't be so bad, but I've not yet managed to overcome the psychological barrier. -

Fri, March 13, 2009 - 10:51 AMYeah, definitely true for Amanitas, but probably not for psilocybes. In fact, Clark Heinrich once told me that the only surefire way to get a satisfactory experience from the Amanitas was to, er, recycle it, so to speak. -

It wasn't specified which mushrooms were being talked about in the thread, but it's usually safe to assume people are talking about psilocybes unless they state otherwise. My bad. Good job someone was on the ball. I wouldn't have wanted someone to drink piss for nothing because of me. -

Sat, March 14, 2009 - 5:31 AMHmm, I've come across that theory before, but am not convinced. Even if the theory's sound, it doesn't persuade me to practise it. There are far better changes I could make to my lifestyle regarding health - like getting more excercise or cutting down on the smoking or drinking. I think I'll give piss a miss. -
