when i was really into candles i would burn strands of my hair and i would feel a movement of psychic energy. i was using it break psychic links.
reminded me of how mayans would sacrifice blood and put it on sacred paper and burn it and offer it the gods.
i wonder what exactly happens to energy from stuff from your body once it gets burned?

Exactly?
On What level?
On which Level?
Science tells us some things about IT
The experience of the Poet or artist or magus tell us many other things.....
I can tell you this- one of the nergies could be the stink of burning hair causing someone to gag -

Re: burning stuff in a candel flame
Tue, March 18, 2008 - 12:10 PMIt depends upon what you feel when you burn hair.
Hair means different things to different people. Its all about your paradigm. I don't think there is one ultimate way that describes what kind of energy would come from your hair.
buzzing my hair is both luxury and asceticism to me. I become my usually cue ball look, but I love the feel of the electric clippers vibrating on my skull, and I always feel clean and refreshed after getting the cut.
In African- American Hoodoo, Hair is a personal concern that is used to bind spells to people. Depending upon the type of hair, how its used, or whatever curios you combine it with, it can all have different effects, but the usual description is to cross (aka curse) somebody with it. the next most common is to use pubic hair in a love/lust spells.
Hair is generally seen as a symbol of beauty and charismatic power. Think about all those drawings of women from fantasy art, religious art (feminie angels) and idealized depictions fo women from history. They are generally drawn with long hair, because long hair is view as being beautiful, feminine. Short hair is harsh and masculine. So, most drawings of me involve short hair, and of course the typical image of military men, with crew cuts or shaved heads.
If burning your hair, makes you feel that connections are being severed, then what kinds of connections? how are they being severed? why are you severing them?
